I have completely cleaned the transfer belt, but it is still making a noise. Also, blue and red colors are starting offlined after cleaning. what else should I do? :(
The loud buzzing sound and printer marks are gone now and this is resolved. My transfer belt cleaner was REALLY REALLY full!!
Finally was able to locate and remove the transfer belt thanks to a post by @gabriene. One thing to note on the picture, the bottom photo shows 4 screws but it was actually 7 or 8 screws to remove the transfer belt and you need to lower the 4 toner locks to slide the transfer belt out. Hope this is helpful for future viewers.
Hi Gabi,
I've got the same problem and it was scuccessfully fixed after I cleaned the transer belt unit.
I've found a lot of stuff clogging the cleanning parts, especially the part connects to the waste cartridge.
Thanks a lot for your advice!
607K00936 is the part number for the transfer belt unit, and yes if you follow the instructions from the post that I linked before, you can replace it.
And see this post to see how to remove the transfer belt and also to remove the transfer belt cleaner.
Hi,
That sound is from transfer belt cleaner which is blocked with clogged toner, especially that I see a lot of residual toner into machine and on the transfer belt.

Having this loud buzzing sound coming from the back of my Phaser 6510 laser printer. Anyone know what the problem could be and have a solution? There's no jams or build-up. Just randomly started doing this during a print job and now it does it every time I print. The print quality is unusable as well. There is vertical track mark (2 tracks) and smudges all over. Help please!
