Yes, that is the Deve module
I can, there is no other name, but part numbers make searching very easy.
Also if you can give me some other names of the developer unit? I'm having a hard time trying to find this part on Amazon, can anyone help me out?
So you're talking about the part just under the toner? to the left of the xerographic unit? When I close the latch of the xero, the toner and the dev unit does push up against the xero unit, if I push it by hand it will push back towards the right side but when I let go it will spring back against the xero unit, I'm assuming that's what it's supposed to do?
Is there anyway to confirm that the dev unit is what needs to be changed?
Also if you can confirm that I'm getting it right this time, that the dev unit is the part under the toner, and both the dev unit and toner is what pushes up against the xero unit when I close the latch for the xero unit...
Do not change the toner! And what it came with Xerographic Module is Transfer/Detack corotron. The Developer Unit that I told you is that where you put the toner cartridge, and that is what I believe is defective. You can push it by hand when you latch the Xero module to firmly latching, but I think again the Developer module is broken.
Is the developer module the long skinny part just below the Xerographic unit?
If it is, that came with the Xerographic unit so we changed that as well, I also tried putting the old one back, and it's still printing blank...
I also tried to put the old Xerographic unit back and it's still printing blank, I'm starting to think the Xerographic unit wasn't the original issue... I'll try changing the toner...
Hi
As Gabi said sounds like developer module , but before that make sure that once you close the Xerographic Module Latch the developer module moves to freely to the left side to be in touch with the Xerographic Module .
Hi,
Machine Developer Module is defective, so replace it.
Gabi
Our Xerox MF 5755 was working fine when it started to print NEAR blank pages, so we figured out it was the Xerographic Module (or Transfer Unit) and when we replaced it, the printer is now printing completely blank pages!
We took out the xerographic unit and didn't see any protective plastic covers or anything that could be obstructing it, so we don't know what the issue is.
Can anyone help me get this fixed? We do a lot of printing/ faxing / copying in our office and our backup printer doesn't e-mail nor is it connected to our network as head office is very slow at getting things like that done for us so we're trying to fix this printer as soon as possible!
