Re: Machine out off network

Hello Cory;

Thanks for your time and your reply.

It goes without saying that we did it all. Even in direct crossover connection with proven cable  it does not go.

Should I really replace the SBC PWB?

Thanks

Serge

Re: Machine out off network

Nothing was mentioned regarding testing the network so I'm adding this:

Always rule out the source of the setup first.  Test the Network drop (where the ethernet cable plugs into the network).  Plug another network device (another printer, PC/Laptop, etc.) and see if you get traffic.  If still fails, try another ethernet cable.  If that fails, then it's the network, not the printer.

the ultimate is to test with a crossover Ethernet cable to a laptop (most new devices doesn't need it.  Remove the network from the equation.

If all fails, it could be the main board with the Ethernet port.

Re: Machine out off network

Hi,

Check on the configuration report that the RAW port (9100) to be enabled. Oterwise it is possible to have the SBC board defective.

Machine out off network

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Hello Everybody,

Machine lost the network connection; i.e. no led on the network cable, does not ping, no web page access, not appear on driver.

We did altboot, replaced SD card, EEPROM, RAM. No change.

Any suggesion? Could I solve it with Putty?

Thanks in advance

Francis, Serge
