Re: Manual duplex on C70 - not registering and skewing

I would have a technician come in and baseline the machine. They will run internal registration adjustments and get the machine to an in spec starting point.

Re: Manual duplex on C70 - not registering and skewing

Thank you for your response. I don't have a high capacity feeder so I am running through bypass.  I am using coated 3/heavyweight 4 depending on which stock I am running for a job.  And I never checked before but yes it is skewing on both sides.  I always thought

it was just one.  And first side is not centered, that is where the problem starts.  And even though i"ve tried the alignment adjustment on SIQA, it doesnt seem to change anything. Thanks again for your time.

Re: Manual duplex on C70 - not registering and skewing

I would make sure that you are using the correct weight (gsm) and grain paper. I'm assuming you are using the bypass tray because you don't have a high capacity feeder (ohcf). An ohcf is a more robust feeder that holds more paper and has tighter specs. Is side one skewing or is it just with side two?

Manual duplex on C70 - not registering and skewing

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,  I am new to this forum and would appreciate any feedback.  I have just upgraded from a Docucolor 260 (was having numerous issues) to a C70.  I am still coming across same issues.  I was assured that skewing wouldn't be a problem any more. And the image shift in command workstation (properties) has been giving me problems. Manual duplexing from bypass tray, stock coated 3 or heavyweight 4

and still having problems with skewing and not backing up properly.  Also I have come across on the website and user manual

that some functions on the the fiery do not work with a Mac.  Thank you,
