Thank you for using the Support Forum. You do not mention what machine you are using. Please try running the 10.6.8 Combo Updater from apple.com to ensure everything is properly re-written. Also run the patch found here . If these steps do not work please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

We just updated our iMac to OS 10.6.8 and are now getting an error message stating "Media Tray Empty" even though everything worked perfectly BEFORE in OS 10.5. The message flashes for an instant, then disappears and prints normally. Why are we receving this message, all of a sudden? We had a Xerox tech come to our schol to try and resolve, but he didn't know what's causing this, either. There was another message about this topic that included a link to a temporary "fix" (http://xrx.sm/MacOS10.6.8Fix) but the link was broken with error "not on this server".
