Re: Moving a file to an offsite server

Hi dmusk,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please have your Xerox technician escalate your issue to their second level support.  You should also contact EFI Fiery to see if there is something they can tell you about getting this information transferred.

Thanks,

Moving a file to an offsite server

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10

I am running Fiery CWS 6 on a Windows 10 machine as a front end to an iGen 5. The iGen has been unable to print for 2 weeks even though Xerox tech has been here every day. I was connected with another company that is willing to print some of our jobs. The jobs are mail merge jobs that have been imposed. I thought that the most sure way to get the proper output would be to forward a fully imposed PDF file containing the 7000 records so that all that would need to be done is to print the file. In Xerox help there are steps to do this for other versions of Fiery for other printers but they do not work on my version. Is it possible to do this? If not, what is the best way to transfer the fully imposed 7000 record file? Will forwarding an archive work?
