Re: Multiple jobs in queue, sent to printer only after the 1st in line job is printed

Jump to solution

Hi

I updated the latest driver on the MAC.

I still get this "remote user" when printing from outlook or web browser.

But when I open the document on the MAC and print it shows the correct name.

Xerox wants me to pay them to get it fixed, they think the HP Direct Jet is the problem.

Hi Joe

It works.

I just had to go do research on where and how to install the printer with this port.

Allthat is controlled by the Mac, not the driver, try using an HP Jet Direct port

Multiple jobs in queue, sent to printer only after the 1st in line job is printed

Product Name: WorkCentre 7830/7835/7845/7855
Operating System: macOS 10.12 - Sierra

Hi

We are using the setting to Hold/Held Jobs until the user goes and releases them.
Printing on the macOS Sierra, the jobs lies in the queue, until the user prints the 1st in queue.
Then the mac will move to the next item since the previous one has been completed.

Seems that all jobs are not spooled to the printer, but held back until the 1st in line jobs is completed.

How do we resolve this?
