Hi print1510W,
Long story short. Server is down and all printing are done using the windows printer driver.
which DFE you are using ? Fiery or free flow print server ?
Automated Machine Color Calibration has been done on the machine which improved the color but is still not accurate which are leading to client complaints.
How you performed this calibriation !!
If you did it by going to Tools >Setup & Calibration > Calibration. then this is will NOT improve the image quality for the print jobs and it will work only for the copying & scanning jobs .
I need to be able to color calibrate the machine further without going through the server.
there is no sence ! Even if there is away to do that " and i dont think so "
when you are calibriating the printer through the DFE "Digital Front End " you are generating curves that adjust the difference between the actual toner densities "new measurment " and the response expected by the by the output profile" target " for specific media on a specific screen mode option .
then the calibriation set is applied only when it is associated with an output profile for each media
SO if there is no sever then the machine will not know which output profile "icc profile " it should use for your selected media
