This is an old thread, but for those who have run into a limitation of the number of pages that can be stapled, folded, crimped, etc (finished)...
This limitation is usually intentional by design. The number of sheets that can be finished varies depending on the stock SIZE, TYPE, and WEIGHT being used in the job. The weight of the paper is usually the most common catalyst that reduces the number of sheets that can be finished. But the combination of the 3 attributes will result in different sheet quantities that are allowed to be finished.
But do not try to fool the machine by setting attributes that are not accurate (just to get the job to run). This usually results in excessive jamming, copy quality issues, and sometimes even damage to parts inside the machine.
You won't find them here, NVM settings are within Diagnostics mode which is not publicly available information and is considered to be Xerox confidential
My Square Fold will not square more than 9 sheets. Where can I find the NVM settings list to make changes.
5 sheets or less does ok.
