Need Standard Output Tray Part Number for C60

Product Name: Xerox Color C60/C70
Operating System: macOS 10.13 - High Sierra

Hi, we have a C60 with a stapler/hole-punch finisher. It has what appears to be 2 part numbers - 'D3A' or 'A-FN07'. It's too big for our new office, so we need to swap it out for whatever the 'standard' output tray unit would be for a C60. Just having a bit of trouble figuring out what that would be so we can look into purchasing one.

- Anyone know what the standard output tray product number would be for a C60?

We'll probably need to sell our finisher, if we can find someone for local pickup (SoCal).

Re: Need Standard Output Tray Part Number for C60

Hi,

Te part number for SCT (Simple Catch Tray) is 050K50991 and for the OCT (Offset Catch Tray) is 050K50987.

Re: Need Standard Output Tray Part Number for C60

Hi Gabi,

Thanks for the quick reply! Any tips on where to purchase the legitimate part in the U.S.? Google search only brought up a couple places that looked a hair sketchy, and listed other part numbers.

Is there a chance that there may be multiple part numbers that would be used for the same item? We called a place that sells used printers & accessories, and they said they had it, but listed it as '050K60730'.

Then, we also found an online parts pricing sheet that listed different output configurations for a C60. For the standard offset tray, it listed 3 part numbers (maybe a kit?!?): 497K02420 (offset tray), 497K02450 (tray wing), and 497K06800 (exit fan kit). We were able to locate the offset tray & tray wing at Staples.com and one other place, for only $60 & $30 resepectively (see example here). The exit fan was more like $300. Do we need each of these pieces for the output side to be complete??

Thanks again for any help here!

Re: Need Standard Output Tray Part Number for C60

Hi jethroD,

I talked to my most trusted hardware specialist co-worker and he said that the exit fan is not required. However all of the units that I have supported have come with it installed. It is there as a safety feature. If you run thicker coated stocks the increased fusing temperature can cause them to be hot when they exit and if you pick them up too soon that might bother some people. The fan is there to cool them down as they exit. If you're running primarily thinner and uncoated stock then you don't need it.

I'm pretty sure that you don't need that wing table either, but without a picture on the Staples site I don't really know what it is. I'm more of a systems (software) person than a hardware person.

Re: Need Standard Output Tray Part Number for C60

Hi,

50K codes are used in the service manual as spare parts, while 497K codes are codes for sales people as parts of equipment, when selling and adding options (eg output tray).
MRCAnalyst is right about the device with output fans, it is your choice whether you buy it or not.
The difference between OCT and SCT is that OCT separates between sets.

That wing is usually used for another option: offline stapler
