Thanks for replying. Let me clarify what I need help with:
What do I plug into where in the back of the printer in order for it to be able to print, and get wifi?
I have the power cord plugged into the computer. The printer is on.
What else do I need to do?
I have a windows10 pc (thinkpad, recent model).
Thanks!
Hi there,
Here are the steps for an Ethernet Connection.
Thank-you Cathy.
I already have the device drivers installed, and paid for a Xerox support in November for additional steps.
The issue is, I've switched internet service providers from Rogers to Bell. In the past, the internet came through the phone line, and Xerox paid service helped me set up so I could print wirelessly. Now however, the internet is through a wired modem. I have no idea what wires need to go where, or if I need new wiring, to set up the printer so I can use it.
The user manual doesn't provide any instructions and now Xerox won't offer paid support.
Can you or anyone else help?
Thanks in advance :-)
Hello VeggieQueen,
I searched our Support page, and found the directions on how to install the print driver for your device.
Hi everyone, could really use your help!
I just switched internet providers and everything got unplugged in the process.
I have no idea how to set this printer up again - to print wired or wireless. Xerox says this product is obsolete and I can't even pay for tech support (although I did pay for support a few months ago). I have this old but in great shape printer, full of expensive ink, and I don't know how to set it up even which cable goes in where.
Can someone kindly help?
The user guide is of no help... it just says "Connect the printer to the network using the recommended hardware and cables".
Thanks!!
