Pg 18 has the instructions for resetting the password. If you are using Xerox® CentreWare® Internet Services as a System Administrator, reference pg 14.
I am not that familiar with the Phaser 3330 and not able to answer your question regarding 'requiring a password'. I will check with our escalated support for information. I will post the info once I receive something that will help you.

We have just ordered and installed three Xerox Phaser 3330 Printers.
For our two network Xerox Phaser 3330 Printers, we set the admin password on the panel menu of the machine.
For our other Xerox Phaser 3330 Printers, we bypassed setting up the admin password; and now we want to set it up. Without seeing anything on the menu panel of the machine for it, or not being able to go to the URL to do it, since it is USB and not, network, I am not sure what I need to do.
The two things I need to do for the printer is:
1) Make it require a password when I go to the Tools menu, as it does for the other two printers.
2) Then change the password.
I've been researching; but at this point not sure what to do to those, since it's a local setup, and no IP-based website for the printer to go to.
If anyone has any direction for me on this, please do share it with me; thanks!
