The v4 is limited purely because it isn't controlled by the Print manufacturer, The manufacturer does the v3, the v4 is a new thing for Microsoft, we only get to do extensions to it.
But the tech is still in early stages, it is the way it will be done in the future, it just isn't right now.
Thanks for answering. I tried the v3 PS driver and that solved the problem.
Is there any advantage in using or any feature available only in the v4 drivers?
The v4 (Class drivers) don't have full capabilities. You need to install the v3 drivers.
This should be added to the v4 at some point in the future, but I don't have a timeline.
I've got a Xerox WorkCentre 6605DN MFP and installed the V4 PS driver through Xerox Print Driver Installer (App version: 6.159.10.0 Driver version: 6.159.8.5) in a Windows 10 x64 machine.
However I can see no option to setup a custom page size when printing. On "Print Settings - Printing Options - Paper - Other Size", there's no related option neither in "Fit to New Paper Size" nor in "Change Document Size".
How should I set custom paper size?
