Re: Not Printing

Job held : resources required does not mean "no paper in tray" it means " the wrong orientation, size, type, or colour of paper was chosen in the print dialogue.

With your model I think paper only fits in the tray 1 way so orientation isn't your issue.

If on your PC you asked for bond paper or recycled paper or hole punched paper but the tray is programmed for plain paper then you will get this error.

Same error if you accidentally choose a wrong size of paper or a wrong colour of paper.

My guess is that the PDF is probably a weird size. There should be a box you can check off regarding the source size?

Check the job details in jobs and see if it is size type or colour that does not match your tray.

You either have to resubmit the job with the settings that match the tray or open and close the tray and lie to the printer ( this only really works for type and color difference, not size difference)

Good luck.

Not Printing

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10

Hi,

Every time I am trying to print a pdf document or a photo from my computer, I get a message stating that I don't have the recources reqired to print. There is paper in the tray and the paper size is set correctly. When I print a document directly from QuickBooks or from my phone, it prints without a problem. How do I solve this issue?
