Not auto selecting paper trays and returning to original tray printing in Word

In Word go to Page Setup and change it from Default tray (Automatically select) to Automatically select.

The 2 are not the same thing and the 2nd one should not have the issue .

Xerox and its driver has no part in the issue, which is why restarting Word solves the problem, the Mac the printer and the driver are in no way affected by restarting Word.

Hi, we have a VersaLink B400 and we're having a small issue printing out of Microsoft Word on a Mac. It prints fine under normal circumstances. We have 81/2 x 11 paper in the paper tray and then number 10 envelopes in the bypass tray. When printing a regular 81/2 x 11 paper size out of word it prints fine, auto selects no problem, but then you print an envelope, it's fine again, auto selects the bypass tray that houses the envelopes. But then you go back and try to print again on an 81/2 x 11 paper size and it does auto select thr regular paper tray, it trys to print it from the bypass tray again and change the media. Doesn't matter if you do page setup or anything. The only way to make it stop and print regulary is to quit out of Word and then print again and it works fine.

Any help would be appreciated, we've never had this problem with our past Xerox printers so it's new to us.
