Re: Orange Light On - Can't Print

Hi Y0DA55,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please power off the machine and unplug it from the power outlet.  Check again for paper jams or any small pieces of paper stuck in the printer.  Remove the new cartridge you put in. Plug the machine back in with the cartridge still out of the machine.  Make sure you are plugging the machine into a dedicated outlet and not an extension cord or surge protector.

Turn the machine back on, again with the cartridge still out.  Once the machine powers on install the cartridge if there are no errors indicated try printing again.  If there is an error message or light please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Orange Light On - Can't Print

Product Name: Xerox B210 Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.12 - Sierra

The red indicator light came on as I was printing.  I went to check to see if paper was jammed (none that I could see) or if the paper was low (it wasn't).

I found that the solid orange light was on.  I didn't think that I had printed enough to warrant a new ink cartridge, but I figured I would put one in.  Nothing changed.  I have no idea why my printer won't print.  It's not the paper, or the jamming (that I can see), and it won't print even with a brand new drum cartridge.

Am I missing something?  Is there anything else I can do?
