Output tray option ignored for printing on A5 paper on WC 7970

Hello Joe,

I finally had the time do some tests.

it's broken in the general release of the firmware 73.xx and also in the newer firmware we use (073.200.136.34300),

because it had some fixes for Equitrac. However, the last firmware from July this year, xxx.20500 is working.

I just tried it and printed to the top right tray with no issue on A5 LEF loaded in tray 5 using the latest GPD-PS and the native PS from Windows 7 x86.

Hi All,

We recently installed a batch of WC 7970 on 2 customer's sites. All devices are fitted with the finisher.

All drivers (GPD PS/PCL6, 7970 driver PS + PCL6) does allow the output tray selections for the finisher top tray when

A5 paper is selected/printed.

However, the prints will always arrive in the centre tray of the printer and not at the finisher.

Different firmware has been tried as well, but still doesn't work.

I couldn't find anything in the various documentation, including the CED, that A5, or anything smaller than A4/letter

is not supported to output to the finisher.

Did someone come across this issue before and have any idea?
