We use a Xerox Workcenter 5955i Our print jobs are large sometimes running to 100 sheets. Other departments scan documents into the program we print from. Sometimes these scanned documents are an odd size for example 8.4" x 11" instead of 8.5" x 11" and the printer just stops and requests that odd size paper.
With our previous printer, a ricoh, this also happened but we could do a manual override and tell the printer to use the paper in the tray anyway and the print job would continue.
The only way we have found to get the print job restarted with the 5955i is to reboot it. Once it has gone thru the reboot process it starts the printing again. Since The job is stored on our print server when the printer does reboot it just continues the job from where it had stopped.
How can we do a manual override to continue the print job with the 5955i?
