PCL XL Error Code

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 7

Whenever i try and print out a document in black and white I keep getting the error code 

Subsytem: Kernel

Error: ColorSpaceMismatch

Operator: VendorUnique

Position: 9

It apparently allows me to print the document in color though and I was just wondering as to why this is an issue. During the troubleshooting phase I have disabled advanced printer options to try and fix it and it didnt work. Please provide any insights as to how I can fix this issue.
