PDF Printing in Workcenter 5645

Hello,

We have just installed the latest available driver for linux (WC5687_Linuxi386XPXX_4.30.18.tar) on Redhat enterprise.

When trying to print a pdf file on a Workcenter 5645 from CLI using lpr, or xprint, we encouter the following situation.

Instead of the rendered pdf, a set of pages are printed containing thebinary content of the pdf.

Can you please advise how we can print from CLI in linux in Workcenter 5645?

Kind Regards

Kostas

Re: PDF Printing in Workcenter 5645

Hello Again,

The problem with the pdf printing is solved, after setting the correct Model through the xpadmin utility.

However we still encouter problems when we try to print in Duplex mode.

We tried using the lp/lpr and xprint commands but with no luck.

Here are somme attempts to pass the correct parameter, wich all returned to Single side printing.

lp -oPrintoutMode=Draft -oDuplex=DuplexNoTumble /ICAP/Word.pdf

xprint -oDuplex=NoTumble /ICAP/Word.pdf

Please take into account, that when printing via the User Interface (e.g. with Acrobat Reader) the parameter is passed correctly and the document is printied in both sides.

Can you please provide some help on this?

Thanks
