Thank you so much for the detailed information on this post. I have been having the same problem, most recently on a second computer I just purchased. I have lived with the problem on the first computer for the last couple years but decided to search for a solution when I recently got the second (new) computer. Such a helpful post for me, thanks again.

After some more poking around in this forum, I found the answer was to install the Win7 version of the Global Printer Driver. Download the below file, then remove the existing driver before installing.

Note to customer support - I'm not sure why I couldn't find the above file, when I was looking for a Windows 7 driver for my 8560DN, but am glad I finally can print PDFs in color without being in booklet mode.
First, go to Devices & Printers and remove Phaser device.
Then click on another printer and select Print Server Propierties (from menu above).
Click Drivers tab, select Xerox Phaser driver and click Remove.
Click Ok to exit out.
Restart Windows.
Double-click the above setup file. (It downloads some additional setup files, so you'll need a live internet connection.)
I have this problem too - any ideas about a resolution?
Acrobat Pro X, Windows 7 and Phaser 8560DN-6PS. Only the PDFs print in booklet mode - all other apps (word 2011, Excel, Firefox) print in their regular orientation. And changing the settings on the driver/device don't seem to help.
I checked the driver and also adobe X and both are set correctly. Any other suggestions?
maybe you have this setup in the driver? if you go to the properties when printing and then the layout tab...
For some reason when I go to print a PDF from Adobe Reader, it prints out as a booklet. The page Layout is not set to print in booklet mode. Has anyone seen this problem or know anything about resolving it. I am using a Xerox Phaser 8500 DN, Windows 7 and Adobe Reader X.
