Thank you Joe.
The info that you have provided is very helpful.
I am just trying to get it working as I feel that the support provider for the software is trying to push their own output devices when all that needs tweaked are a few settings at the file creation side.
I'm not sure what you are asking here.
They won't let you look at/use or change their submission method, they have determined their submission language is incompatible, and they want you to fix it how?
AS400 is supported via XTOOLS.
Print streams can be modified using compatible PJL codes
But obviously if they won't change anything on their end nothing is going to change. The printer isn't going top have a simple check box to enable it to understand their in their word "incompatible"
Hello guys,
It has been a while since my last post as I have been coping on my own :) hope that you are all well.
I have a scenario where my customer has a C80XX using PS3 driver in a Windows domain.
They have a system CDK that generates jobs in a hosted print server (which they won't grant access too) but it uses 'directPDF' and no Windows drivers are used.
The server can connect to the C8030 so there are no network issues (port 515) but nothing comes out the printer. The language is PJL and they have said it is incompatible. However, I cannot see that any software developer would close the door on Xerox.
Other than trying and print to file and a program to send the PDF to the printer is there anything else I can try?
The firmware is current.
Cheers
Joe
