Re: PRINT ONLY ENABLED FILES

Alberto,

To have this type of control, you'll need a group/local policy or software controled print functions.

Here is a link for group policies;

I would search the Microsoft site as well for more information, You can do alot with GPO's.

You could also check out Software for Printer control. There seems to be alot of companies out there offering this.

Once you figure out the best practice for what you need, you just push it to the rest of the computers.

 *edited* You could also check out Script control as well.

Dear rdaniels2:

Our customer dont use Print Server platform. The Equitrac/other SW option is not valid.

They need a solution at device (printer) level.

Now that is a very good question, I am not sure if this can be handled at the device level. I know that you can change alot of the print option through a print server, In which you have more control. I even know that Nuance Equitrac server settings can give you even more control.

Here is a link for the Nuance Equitrac guide, if you want more information.

PRINT ONLY ENABLED FILES

Jump to solution
Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello, on Versalink B400 we need printing only some files with determinated name/extension.

By example: Print all files with name as: "roger1801001.pdf" , and do not print files with other names/extensions.

This is possible? Thanks
