1-disconnect the printer on the network
2-make sure that there is nothing in the spool
go to C>Windows>System32>spool>PRINTERS
and delete the files inside
3-then try to restart the print spooler on the pc
go to start > run > type cmd then type these commands
net stop spooler
net start spooler
4- then try also to change the port you are using if it Raw make it as LPR and disable the SNMP and if it is already LPR try to make it Raw and the port number is 9100
5- try to disable the advanced priniting feature
With every driver i tried the same problem with this PC,when the PC sees the printer on the network it starts giving prints and giving prints from a "GUEST USER".
Even when i remove device from control panel it keeps giving prints unless i do a factory restore on the machine.
If the issue is only happening on one particular PC on the network, I would think the problem is with that PC and not the Printer. Does it happen with all applications on that PC or just a specific one? I would recommend trying to zone in on troubleshooting that PC or Application the user is having an issue with.
Hello, i install a versalink b405 about 10 days ago.
And today the custome call me telling that after a print it started printing unstoppable
i went there and from 1 of the 2 pcs that is installed it take command to prin again and again.
I did uninstall the drivers and it keept doing it from the same pc or from a Guest Profile.
I did a reset of the machine i changed the ip and as soon as i did install it manually (PCL6) it did the same thing again.
