1-disconnect the printer on the network
2-make sure that there is nothing in the spool
go to C>Windows>System32>spool>PRINTERS
and delete the files inside
3-then try to restart the print spooler on the pc
go to start > run > type cmd then type these commands
net stop spooler
net start spooler
4- then try also to change the port you are using if it Raw make it as LPR and disable the SNMP and if it is already LPR try to make it Raw and the port number is 9100
5- try to disable the advanced priniting feature
Hello,
With every driver i tried the same problem with this PC,when the PC sees the printer on the network it starts giving prints and giving prints from a "GUEST USER".
Even when i remove device from control panel it keeps giving prints unless i do a factory restore on the machine.
Thank you.
Hello mgk7,
If the issue is only happening on one particular PC on the network, I would think the problem is with that PC and not the Printer. Does it happen with all applications on that PC or just a specific one? I would recommend trying to zone in on troubleshooting that PC or Application the user is having an issue with.
