Re: Persistent error codes 024-963

I really don't understand what's with the random paper settings.

In an earlier thread you all were saying to use different settings and that Xerox even told you to.

Sounds like Xerox techs can't read. You use the paper setting with the corresponding GSM range in which your paper's GSM falls in.

The printer literally creates a gap for the paper to pass through and the thickness of the gap is determined by that setting. So I've been told at least.

Our now copy and print supervisor once tried doing business cards, and went so far as to set it to a plain paper setting. Needless to say, the combination of the plain paper setting and long edge first caused a jam so bad that a tech needed to come out and fix it... And this bimbo is a supervisor now lol. Tried calling her out on it and telling the GM it was sheer negligence, and they didn't believe me. The supervisor just claims "well its only because I did long edge. Xerox said to never use long edge first". Never mind you told the printer you were printing on plain paper when in reality you were shoving some thicc $h!t in its rear end.

Literally all she does is shift blame whenever you try to teach her responsibility. Can't wait until she quits and goes elsewhere.

Persistent error codes 024-963

Product Name: WorkCentre 6027
Operating System: macOS 11 - Big Sur

First print always prints out correct. Next print job control panel error code pops up. Removing and re-inserting tray will clear error code and at the same time prints the previous completed job. Downloaded most recent  drivers, CWIS checked printer tray instructions. Problem popped up when printing Avery labels.
