I have recently purchased Xerox Phaser 3020. I switch On the printer, connects it with my Laptop using USB cable.
I am having Win10 64Bit OS, when I install the printer drivers and select "USB connection - printer is connected using USB cable", once clicked Next , the system throws an error "Failed to connect to Printer". I then Go Back and select "Wireless Network connection", and select "Yes I will setup my printers wireless connection", when I click next there is an error, "Failed to connect to Printer".
I have further tried the same process after changing the USB cable but same problem.
Please can you suggest the solution to this problem?
I usually suggest to make sure the printer is powered on when installing the drivers, but you already said you have tried that. I found the steps for installing the printer here if you want to go through it step by step to see if you missed anything in the install procedure.
