It should go into sleep mode only after 25 minutes (you add them together) and it will not do so if anything is active, so if someone has CWIS open, or polls it on the network, it won't deep sleep
It is not very clear if you are asking for a complete shut-down or not. The auto-shut off feature that your screenshot captures is intended to take it into a low-power mode. It appears by your comment that this function is doing exactly that. If your goal is to get a mode to automatically shut off the printer completely after 20 minutes so you have to manually re-engage power, then there is no such feature on this unit. This unit features a total of 4 power states that it operates at:
Operation: this is an active printing state, where the printer is engaged in printing tasks.
Power Save: this is a low-power state, where the printer is not engaged in more than basic networking functions.
Stand By: this is an active non-printing state, where the printer is not engaged in printing, but the print engine is otherwise powered and ready for operation.
Off: The lowest power state. No network or print activity can occur here.
Auto-shutoff should set it to the low-power state after the specified period of time which, by your description, appears to be occurring. There is no feature to automatically enable the Off state outside of using the power switch located on the top of the printer.
I hope this helps.
I show you screenshot.
I have activated auto power off after 20 minutes but it doesn't work.
Hello Kazmerau.
Thank you for using the forum.
It’s not clear what you are referring to about auto power off. Could you clarify what power state you want the device to enter, and what state that you're having trouble getting the device to use?
Hello.
I have a problem with my new Phaser 3020.
Auto power off funktion doesnt work.
I try to change auto power off time intervals between 5-30 min but printer goes just to stand by mode.
