The issue that you are experiencing may be due to the print cartridge not being seated correctly in the printer. Help can be found in the Xerox Online Support Assistant here on Xerox.com. Here is a link to the Phaser 3250 Knowledge Base to help you resolve the issue. Knowledge Base articles contain step by step instructions to help resolve most problems.
Just type the following phrase in the search field in the Knowledge Base window, "Solid Black Prints" and then click on the first solution, "Remove and Re-install the Print Cartridge". Hopefully this helps to resolve your problem. If not, at the top of the knowledge base window you will find the 800 number for contacting the Xerox Customer Technical Support (800-835-6100).
