I am printing a scanned page in black and white (only K has value). However, regardless the setting of High quality, Low quality, postscript setup etc. it all come up fuzzy. Please find the following comparison with HP laserjet, I tested on a rocoh printer as well, the result is similar. Tested on different software as well, from preview to photoshop. all the same.
All the vetor files and fonts are printing suprbly, hence I suspect there must be a setup/driver problem.
My setup is:
Printing via wifi.
OS: Mac OS X 10.9.1
Driver Version: 5.00
System: Phaser3320_V53.002.05.000 AUG-22-2012
PS. just did a firewire upgrade: Phaser3320_V53.004.02.000 JAN-03-2014
problem still presist.
PSS. Tried to directly upload the Postscript file to the web interface, problem presist.
The sample PDF can be find here:

hello? . . . .
Hey you!
Try printing from Adobe Reader, while having "Print as Image" selected.
Any change?

What about converting the image to bmp and then sending it to the printer through the web interface?
That way you'll bypass the driver completely.

tried that, but it seems it only accept *.ps, *.pcl, *.prn, *.txt. etc. My tiff image doesnt go through.
Tried the ps format htis way, still have the same problem.
Hi again!
It should accept BMP or JPEG, if it's the same problem with just a straight up image file its pretty weird.
What font is being used? what if you open up a new document, write a few lines with the same font, does the problem appear when printing that too?
Also try changing to another ream of paper if thats not been tried already.
The paper you're using could be too light or not smooth enough etc.

it rejected both jpeg and BMP. sigh.
all vector elements, e.g. fonts, lines, all printing superbly. however, any pixel based bitmap images are all blurry regardless of the resolution.
The example I gave is a scanned page, hence the 'font' is actually an image.
Hi again!
Hmm, that does sound pretty weird.
What about trying the built-in generic PCL driver on ur mac and see if the same problem persists?
Then at least we'll know if its a driver issue or not.
