Phaser 3600 fuser jam

3600 repeatedly jamming at the rear. Requires removing fuser door to clear jam. There are some superficial dimples on one side of the fuser - not sure if cause or result of repeated jams.

Can't seem to find references to this type of jam.

please help

Hi JLee,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you are following all the steps for clearing the jam.  Also make sure you are using paper within the specifications for the machine.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Re: Phaser 3600 fuser jam

Clearing the jam is not a problem - we are unwilling experts at it by now.

We are using a quality qualified paper and the same kind since we purchased the printer. Only in last 2 to 3 weeks do we have to clear jams multiple times per day.

thanks and please help

Re: Phaser 3600 fuser jam

Hi JLee,

You may want to try a new fuser.  If that is not an option or does not help then it sounds like it may be time to have a technician take a look.

Thanks,
