I've found the driver disc of the printer, installed PrintingScout, problem solved.


But hey, WHY it isn't listed on the support page amongst the softwares/drivers? Where can I find the up-to-date version od PrintingScout?

Hi everyone,


I have a Phaser 6000B printer. My problem is that the "Printer Status" button is grayed out in its preference window (see attached screenshot)

- Total impressions: ~450 pages

- Initial cartridge(s) ran out recently, replaced with genuine Xerox cartridge(s). (I'm not sure which color was replaced, black is for sure.)

- operating system: Windows Server 2012 R2

- firmware version: 1.62.0

- driver version: GDI x64


I remember that this button worked in the past, I saw the toner level etc.


Is there any additional software needed beyond the driver to enable this option?
