So in the last screenshot you can lighten and darken by not choosing normal

Those are the features I get when "Basic" is not selected:

And I don't have access to a Mac, I would assume they would show up in your setup if you chose something else and not Basic Features from the dropdown

What application are you printing from?

Have you verified in the driver that draft mode isn't on?

In image type set to photo in the driver?

Have you tried adjusting brightness and/or contrast?

If only blacks are faded, you could simply boost the black toner in the driver. (Assuming all jobs form all apps)

For some time now, the blacks are faded (faint, gray) in my color photos.

My black toner is brand new by the way.

I also did an Automatic Color Registration Adjustment.

What is wrong with my printer?

How can this be fixed?
