Re: Phaser 6010 not connecting wirelessly, using Windows 10

You have to put it on the new network like you did with the PC.

Use one of the two methods below to assign the IP address.

To allow the IP address to be Assigned Automatically:

  1. Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Press the [Down] arrow button until "Admin Menu" is selected, and then press the [OK] button.
  3. At "Network Setup", press [OK].
  4. Press the [Down] arrow button until "TCP/IP" is selected, and then press [OK].
  5. Press the [Down] arrow button until "IPv4" is selected, and then press [OK].
  6. At "Get IP Address", press [OK].
  7. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until "DHCP/AutoIP" is selected, and then press [OK]. The printer will display "Restart printer to apply setting" for a moment, then display the entered IP address. Press the [Return] button.
  8. Press the [Menu] button to return to the Ready screen.
  9. Reboot the printer.

Assign the IP address Manually (Static IP address):

You can assign a static IP address to your printer from the Printer Control Panel. After an IP address is assigned, you can change the address using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS).

To assign a static IP address to the printer, you need the following information:

  • An IP address properly configured for your network
  • The Network Mask address
  • The default Router/Gateway address

To assign a static IP address to the printer:

  7. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until "Panel" is selected, and then press [OK]. The printer will display "Restart printer to apply setting" for a moment then display the "Panel" option again.
  8. Press the [Return] button to return to the "IPv4" menu and then press the [Down] arrow button to scroll to "IP Address" and press [OK].

Phaser 6010 not connecting wirelessly, using Windows 10

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

My internet was recently changed, and when it changed so did the modem and password. As soon as this happened the 6010 stopped connecting. We have tried everything, uninstalling the printer software... reinstalling x3 and it still doesn't go.

It just won't connect. Anyone have any suggestions? We use Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
