I'm hoping someone can help. I have only had my printer a few months and now running into problems with the fuser. I print labels, all well to start no problems, but now I'm having problems with part of my labels not fusing properly only in a certain place
Any issue with fusing is an issue with one of 2 things
1. Humidity or unsupported stock
2. Heat (too much, flakes, too little, smudges)
You won't get the right heat if you don't set the stock right in the printer, Labels are much heavier than plain, fusing issues will happen, so if the stock isn't set, do so.
The Printer Setting Utility is installed on the computer when the print driver is installed. The utility has three tabs that help to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot printer functions.
To adjust the paper type:
Heat can be set by the voltage.Which is done via the printer Setting Utility as well
Use Adjust Fuser for optimum print quality across a wide range of paper types.
