First. Open a pdf and check what I have highlighted here matches your setup exactly.

If it turns out you are printing jobs from within a browser (especially Chrome) via a pdf plugin/extension. You will likely have to stop doing that, it is not reliable at all.

Hello

New to forum and looking for some help.

We recently purchased a 6022 and every once in a while the printer will fail to print a document and instead will print a black page.  I have searched troubleshooting, support, and this forum and not seen any reference to this problem or a solution.

I think that the documents being printed that turn out this way are PDF's. 

I am running OS X El Capitan with the latest driver (Dec '15).

If you have any ideas how to address this issue I would appreciate the assistance.
