I've just replaced an old phaser printer with a new Phaser 6022.
The problem is that it takes forever to process and print a job. Even a simple windows test page can sit there processing for over a minute.
I have tried both the PS and PCL drivers and also turned both power save modes up to 60 minutes in case its sleeping.
The printer is connected via ethernet and there appear to be no connectivity issues.
Please help as I'm starting to get shouted at hehe.
Right-click printer and go to Printer Properties > Ports > Configure Port
No selections here
No Check here either
Apply > OK > Reboot
This has worked for me.
I've ran a network sniffer on the network for a printer that was having the same issue on different model's of printers. In a couple of cases, it came down to the Port / printer network speed not setup corrrectly. I've had to change the network speed in CWIS from Auto to manually selecting the speed to match the network speed.
CWIS -> Properties -> Connectivity -> Physical Connection -> Ethernet
Other times it was just a bad port on a Switch.
Like I said this worked for me in some cases. Other cases it was a driver issue.
