Re: Phaser 6130 fuser temperature

Many thanks.

However, there is nothing in any of the recommendations to alter fuser temperature, just to replace if it might not be functioning properly, which seems rather extreme!!

I'm not getting smears, I'm getting sufficiently a sufficiently thick layer of toner on the paper that it starts to break up and fall off in small peices.

If I try to print double sided the effect is made worse with more toner falling off.

Phaser 6130 fuser temperature

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I get no errors, but clearly the fuser is not getting to the required temperature as the toner, where fairly thick, isn't properly fused to the paper.

Can I adjust the fuser temperature on this printer?  If so how?
