Thank you for using the the Support Forum. You have tried most of the things that I would have suggested. There is one more thing you can try, make sure that you have the latest firmware loaded on your printer. Here is the link to the Phaser 6180 driver and firmware page. If this does not work then service would be needed.

I recently replaced my black and cyan toner in my 6180. After doing this I noticed all the pages had a grey tinted background on the front page of the paper, the back is totally white. I ended up replacing the black toner in hopes it was just a defective unit. This did not work. I then replaced the transfer belt, this did not fix the problem, then I tried the fuser usit, still did not fix the problem and now the colored ink looks like it is melting on the pages also.
Any ideas of what can be the matter, I can't afford a technician to come take a look at $300 for 30 minutes and $70 for every 15 minutes after that.
