Thus, for the time being, I'm going to use the V3 Xerox Global Print Driver PostScript so that later on, when Win11 comes through, I'll try my luck with that same driver going forward.

Printed double-sided, but did not print in color. In hindsight, I might or might not have seen any selection about printing in color, as I did in the Global PS driver.

Qualifying, or perhaps tempering/backpeddling, on my previous comments, I observe that the Win7 6180 v3 PS driver is held within the confines of the xerox.com domain, since it's URL reads:
Thus anyones concern about infecting their machines with malware etc. should be unfounded. Thus, that leaves us with the support concern which I believe will be difficult to resolve, sans a phone call into the Xerox support line (see the forum admin's original comment). I've not called that support line because I desired to see if I could get it working by myself without wasting time waiting on hold, encountering some sort of paywall involving contracts, etc.
I'm going to try installing those global drivers and retest for double-sided printing, and report back my findings here (regardless of the outcome). Then as a fallback, I can try the Win7 6180 v3 PS driver you posted.
You're welcome to use the Win10 or global driver, of course. In general, I have just seen users have more issues with the v4 or global driver, than with the v3 driver.
Based on my experience, the Win7 (v3) drivers (in general) provide the best overall experience and interface for the user, with the least amount of day-to-day and job-to-job hassles that I find in the other drivers.
My bias may also be because I frequently have to resolve printing issues that users experience (quickly), so instead of trying to figure out why the Win10 (v4) driver and app are causing an issue, I recommend using the v3 driver and manual install since I'm familiar with it. And this usually resolves the issue they are seeing.
In your case, the responsibility of resolving these issues will fall on some one else’s shoulders (yours or your support team), so that portion of my preference is irrelevant.
You have a good point about Win11. I'm not sure what will happen when that becomes main-stream.
I found the driver thru google by doing a specific search for 6180 win7 driver, then had to dig a bit to find the one I was looking for. I provided the direct exe link, just as a convenience for you to download without the hassles of the many menus that I had to go thru to get to it.
The driver that you choose should be your decision. The one I provided is just my recommendation based on my daily experiences with many other products.
I recommend postscript for color devices because the color is much more accurate than with PCL. There is a huge difference on some products! Fonts are also better represented as well (in my experience). PS is a little slower out of the gate than PCL tho, so I recommend PCL for monochrome devices.
The other thing that I would normally recommend is that you use an IP port rather than allowing Win10 to setup a WSD port (which causes many issues). But based on your previous posts, you have already tackled that beast. (Thumbs Up!).
Also, I'm concerned that I, the user, is having to revert to a Win7 driver. How is the user going to remember to do that when the OS receives upgrades to Win11 and beyond? What's wrong with the Win10 drivers? What's wrong with this "global" one? Is there a Xerox-sanctioned and Xerox-provided explanation as to why we have to go "backwards" in order to obtain support for this printer?

If this .exe you mentioned is fully supported by Xerox, and thus, is safe (virus-free, malware free), then it should be accessible directly via my own searching on the Xerox Software and Solutions pages.
