The information you have provided sounds like an issue with either the seating that the cartridge fits in, or a problem with the cartridge itself. Please verify that you are using genuine Xerox toner, and if so you may need to contact support as Service may be needed on the machine.

My Phaser 6180N is only printing around 100-200 prints before asking to replace the black toner.
I originally thought this was down to a faulty toner but I've replaced the toner twice now and have had this problem with all 3 toners.
Prints are also greying the paper a little too. I've tried cleaning but it does come back.
