Phaser 6180N problems in color & correct drivers

I have an old phaser 6180 & made the mistake of installing the new Apple Big Sur.  My disc with driver isn't accepted any longer & I don't know how to start a new topic (new community member).  Any help would be appreciated.

Tried calling Xerox, but they weren't any help.

Hi Again,

Yes i shared with you the GPD because there is no PCL 6/ PS driver for windows 10 x64 in the xerox website and GPD must work fine .

IS it print in black and white ? if yes check step 2 , if no check step 1

regarding the port error which u state 

you can assign the same port to more than a driver ; windows will add _1,2,3.... to the ip address in the port field if the same ip address is assigned to another driver

However if you still have that error during the installation ;you can go to the driver which you said that it loaded and do this 

step 2 

check the output color in the driver properties and preferences

thank you...I have not been here in awhile and still having trouble with this driver fro Phaser 6180N.

In the window you sent a pix of...I am to have TCIP on top then IP adress then port.

I got an error port was already taken...a driver does load but wont print in color and the name is not Phaser like it should be it shows Xerox GBD thing...on the 2 that work it says Phaser 618N.. I have photos if you would look at them and am sure you will see what is wrong...

this is so weird as I have never had this much trouble and I DID load the other 2 laptops and they work great print in color.

What is going on...any idea - I have included pix...and when I did have the TCIP in the top windows - I still got errors.

Install this driver

Select Add a printer then Select The printer that I want isn’t listed
then Select ‘Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname’ 
 

**Ensure that the ‘Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use’ checkbox is not
selected

problems getting to print in color at first now cannot get correct drivers

Several months ago I got 1 Windows 10 laptop and 2 Windows 7 laptops to work corectly! Today I cannot get 2 newly upgraded laptops with Windows 10 64 bit to install the Phaser 6180N correctly - I can get the Microsoft PL6 driver and it works but only in B&W on BOTH laptops same thing. So I removed device and looked for another driver and cannt find the one that works...the Global one did not...or the PL6 v3 I believe it is called - did not work either.

So I am either doing it wrong or different that the Windows 10 laptop I successfully installed the Phaser 6180N on several months ago and works great!

A bit frustrated...also cannot remember if I installed TCIP or just had the right driver. The ONE that works shows a 6180\6189 Class driver...the 2 that I cannot get to work show Microsoft PL6 driver or some other name...is there any help with this unit as to what I need to do?
