1. At start of printing get a whirring sound and then paper jam.
This is random and may be like for a while, then it is okay for a while. Once paper is cleared it usually works.
I would guess humidity, but jams certainly have no cause related to a driver or submission method
I just now printed from the 6250 admin. Usage Report and got a jam... Alway says at Registration. When I clear it from inside, it stops again when the half fed paper from the tray iscomes in. I usually take the tray paper out first before I open, but sometimes do not.
Yesterday I spoke to a printer techie and he thinks it may be the feeder solinoid gone.
2. At times we get a'Wrong Paper' in Tray 2. (meaning Letter not A4 etc) I onl;y use A4 never Letter
This could be related to app /submission method, check if for instance Adobe reader, that choose paper source by pdf page size isn't checked, or that it only happens from apps that do not by default invoke the driver at all (Chrome/Indesign)

Yes I always check the size before I print however maybe it is overridden at times.
I think if I Cancel the print on the machine and print again it is fine, but I will have to check that again. I might also cut some paper to letter size and see if it works
Trouble is it is so random it is hard to track especially as I do not have the time to just 100% focus on it.
We have taken paper in/out of tray, taken tray out and inserted again, moved tabs in tray, changed paper.
Usually once we Cancel print and restart, this clears.
This would imply the printer is the problem, and that the guides are possibly moving, check that the printer itself knows what is loaded when the job fails via the driver or CWIS

Also is there a Diagnostic mode? I can get to each printer's Admin via the LAN but can't see anything there to help.
Probably not, and if there is, you would need a service manual to find out how to access it, Diagnostics on Xerox devices are not open to customer access.

I do appreciate your help. I bought a ColorQube8570 so when they give me the problems I can still print, however the ink cost seems every high than it should be.

I'm in the USA/Canada region, that printer does not exist here, are you certain is a 6250DN? We have a 6280DN, the GPD doesn't even have a 6250DN, so I would imagine issues would be had

I have Win 10.

3. At times Black print is grey not black. Very light.
This may stay like this for a while but comes good but not sure why. Have tried on/off new toner, shake toner etc
Other colours are okay although every now and then they lose vibrancy or are a little off colour.
