Take the IP of the device and verify you can still view its webpage, also, try pinging the IP address.
If you can do neither, the cable or the port is likely at fault.
If you can view both, it is likely that Apple did an update and broke the driver, just remove and reinstall with the driver from Xerox.com
I have a phaser 6280 hooked up over ethernet to a Macbook Pro and Mac Mini bothg running Yosemite (10.10.5). Suddenly I cannot find the printer over the network. Checked all connections and all working. Then I found that I could not print the Information Pages and that the printer just hung when I gave the command to print any of these. It did print the error history report but I couldn't see any issues there (although I'm not sure what I'm looking for). It sounds like it might be a hardware problem but I'm not sure. Has anyone come across this before?
