I just replaced two cartridges, cyan and magenta, and am now getting some strange cyan and magenta 'ticking' on pages printing with colour. I have been troubleshooting for a couple hours now. I do not have back-up cartridges to test with but I'm not sure how this would be an issue with both cartridges. Any help would be appreciated.
These are horizontal dashed 'lines', the dashes are about 1cm long and 1.5cm apart. I have an attached an image, hopefully the lines are visible.
Thank you.

Your issues sound very similar to the problem I am having except mine are all one color (red) - see pattern printing entry near yours. I replaced my yellow cartridge possibly around the time my issue started. Are you using refilled cartridges or new? A friend suggested the refilled cartridges may be the issue.
I am using new cartridges.
Wow. Your issue does sound just like mine!
Heya!
Here is the measurements for repeating defects on this machine:
(I would say it has to do with the Print Cartridge)
Thanks!

Your image is not showing up for me! Could you repost or provide a link to the image?
Thank you.
synergy,
Check now to see if the image is visible for you.
Yes, I can see the image now. Thank you.
The pattern repeats every 25mm, so I am assuming that I'm looking at a print cartridge issue. Either the "Sleeve (Y, M, C) or the "BCR Cleaner Roll" could be the culprit according to the intervals.
Thank you for your help.
@synergy: did you have any luck fixing this problem? If yes, what parts did you clean or replace?
Hi, edwaa.
I suggest you do the same, look at my image provided in the tread and measure the distance between the defect.
It can be more than one part depending on your problem.
Best Regards
Kimzi
