Phaser 6280N

This printer is causing good quality printing paper to wrap around the fuser. I have replaced the fuser and it still happens. As the first episode damaged the drum on the fuser I am now nervous about doing anything with it. Any ideas????

I would suggest that you review the following areas in the 6280 online user guide for a possible solution.

Supported Paper and Media  or  Setting Paper Types and Sizes

On the same 6280 site is a support link where you can search for other potential solutions and settings that helped others.

 

Setting the type is important because different paper weights can have internal settings that will change such as temperature, speed and more. By reviewing this user guide I found indications that rough or porous media can damage the machine.


If these resources does not resolve your issue you may consider contacting our specific product support experts.
