John,
If this is only happening from external jobs and not when you try to print internal pages (like a configuration page), you may be having a communication issue.
Make sure your USB cable is under 12 feet long and is not connected to any USB hubs or extenders, possibly try a different USB cable and/or test from a different computer. Another option would be to connect the printer via Ethernet, this is the preferred connection method for the device.
If none of that works, or if you need assistance with testing from another computer or connecting the printer via Ethernet, please contact the Support Centre for technical support.
Hope this helps.

Hello, Tim. My 6360 is connected via USB, but the page does not print automatically. It only happens when I initiate a print job from a program like PaintShop Pro.
Example:
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Open PaintShop Pro.
3. Attempt to print a picture.
4. The first printing comes out looking like gibberish.
5. Attempt to print the same picture again.
6. The second printing completes successfully.
The same thing happens if I try to print from another program like Microsoft Word after I turn on the printer.
Hi John,
Is your 6360 connected via Ethernet or USB? Since this only happens during powerup, with the machine off, disconnect the communication cable (Ethernet or USB cable) then turn the machine on. Does this page still print?
Please let us know.
Thank you,
Tim
Hello, I have a question about the Phaser 6360dn. After I turn on the printer, the first page that I try to print comes out looking like gibberish.
Here is a link to a picture of the page:

That always happens when I try to print something after turning on the printer.
Subsequent print jobs complete normally. It is the only the first print job that always fails.
