Hi!
As stated earlier, it does sound like a tray settings issue, try changing the settings to hard stock or glossy and see what happens.

Hi,
This issue can be provoked by bad tray configuration. What kind of paper are you using?
Hello there,
I have an issue while printing with my Phaser 6500. (page count 5200)
If I print regular word text document in black and/or in color, everything is fine. No issue there. The black toner stay very well on the paper as if it was brand new.
But when I try to print a picture or a drawing either just in black or in full color, the black toner will not "burn" completely and leave somekind of thickness on the paper.
Only th black toner does that and it can be scratched off the paper with the finger. The color toner stays on the paper no problem.
But again, if I go back printing just text, everything is fine.
I had the fuser checked by a specialist in a computer store. It had some debries and was cleaned but still does the exact same thing.
Any Ideas?
Thank you
