I have the exact same problem. All the same symptoms to a "T". How do you make the motor for the yellow toner cartridge?
Joe053204-xrx you just made my day! Many thanks for those suggestions.
What finally solved my problem was the part "And failing that, do this from another forum users blog."
Running the motor of the yellow toner cartridge for 30s in diagnostics mode made the yellow come back. :smileyhappy:.
Sounds like the toner hopper was emptied as well.
Take out the toner and give it a shake, be careful though, you don't want this:
After the reinstall, do this.
And failing that, do this from another forum users blog.
After replacing an old (empty) yellow toner cartridge the new yellow toner cartridge is not working. No printouts contain any yellow, yellow is simply absent from the printout.
The problem is not related to a (Windows) driver issue since the page for manual color registration (printed via the menu on the printer itself) also does not contain any yellow.
When I look at the supply info page the yellow toner is shown at 'level 100%' so I guess the new cartridge has indeed been correctly recognized. I have already replaced the toner again (assuming a defect toner cartridge) but alas the problem is still there (exactly the same symptoms)
Note that I don't see any kind of error message anywhere, yellow simply doesn't print...
Does anyone have a clue what could be going on here?
