Phaser 6500 prints straight horizontal lines in CMYK throughout the entire page

Reseating the imaging unit worked like a charm.

Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

I would suggest that you perform the following.

1. Reseat the Imaging Unit
2. and if no change, then replace the Imaging Unit.
3. If that does not correct it, the printer will require service.

Hello,

As of today, our Phaser 6500 has been printing solid CMYK lines horizontally across every page. It does not matter whether it's a self test or from a variety of different operating systems.

It's the same issue as discussed (without resolution) in this thread.

Any ideas on what the cause might be?
